Why Cheaper Is Not Always Better
A low price tag can be misleading. When you factor in lifespan, certifications, and replacement costs, budget chambers often cost more in the long run.
Budget Chamber
Lower Upfront Price
- Thinner materials and generic compressors
- Average lifespan: 2-3 years of daily use
- May lack FDA 510(k) clearance (registered, not cleared)
- Limited or no warranty support
- Frequent replacements add up to a much higher total cost
A budget chamber replaced every few years costs significantly more over 15 years, plus the downtime and hassle of sourcing replacements.
OxyHealth Chamber
One Purchase, 15+ Years
- Medical-grade materials and purpose-built compressors
- Built to last 15+ years of daily use
- FDA 510(k)-cleared (not just registered)
- Comprehensive warranty and U.S.-based support
- One purchase covers 15+ years of use
An OxyHealth chamber purchased once covers 15+ years of daily use with no replacement needed.
"The most expensive chamber is one that fails when you need it most."

Why FDA 510(k) Clearance Matters for Your Investment
A lower-priced chamber may save money upfront, but if it lacks FDA 510(k) clearance, you could be compromising on safety. FDA 510(k) clearance means the FDA has reviewed the device and found it substantially equivalent to a legally marketed device. FDA registration simply means a manufacturer has notified the FDA that they exist. OxyHealth chambers are FDA 510(k) cleared as Class II medical devices, not just registered.
Before purchasing any hyperbaric chamber, always ask the manufacturer for their FDA 510(k) clearance letter and ASME PVHO-1 GR-1 form with serial number.
